Sony's DRM rootkit

Well, sony seems to have shot themselves in the foot. It has come to light that about 20 of their cds come with DRM software that autoplays when you insert the CD into your computer. So you say, whats new, that happens all the time. Well, sony's DRM hides itself using rootkit technology and it can not be turned off. Basically it installs extentions that hides files that start with "$sys$" from windows. This is bad enough, but it has opened the door for atleast one trojan to exploit this. Now computers that have played these cd's can have any file hidden from the users.
